Interview with Paloma

About Paloma study abroad project

What do you want to study and why?

I want to be a lawyer, and the main reason why is to be able to find justice for people that don’t have the opportunity.

Where are you from and where do you want to go?

I’m from Chile and I would like to the UK. I love my country because it is little and it has everything near to you, the beach, the countryside, the desert and the forest can be found near you. And I’d like to live the connectivity of a big city and also get to know historical places, such as the Buckingham Palace, the Big Ben, among others.

Tell us more about you

What do you enjoy doing when you have spare time?

I’m a part-time writer in my spare time. I love to read and to investigate different topics, and also discuss them with specialists so I can get to learn more.

Is there a personality trait about you that you are proud of?

I’m a fast learner. It doesn’t take much time to memorize and apply things, in my personal case. And the reason is that I’m proud of it is that I can work faster than the limit I self-impose.

A message for the higher education institutions

If there is anything you’d like to say to Universities who will see your profile?

If there’s anything you want to know, feel free to ask. I love to learn and I think I can fulfill anything anyone asks me. And I hope you can see me as a beneficial student for your community because be sure that I’ll always be eagerly asking. Thanks.

If you can go abroad with a friend?

Actually, I wouldn’t go abroad with any of my friends. Because I fear that I’ll distract myself from my own responsibilities and I really don’t want that to happen.
